Teacher Resource Websites

Website #1
http://www.busyteacherscafe.com/printables.html

I really liked the website because it provided worksheets that you are able to print off directly off the website. As a teacher, you live quite a bust life and it is so helpful to have resources like the available for you to print off and give directly to your students.

Website #2
http://www.lakeshorelearning.com/home/home.jsp?f=ga&adword=educational_resources_v2&gclid=CNqf2fKul6UCFQwDbAodTUdVPQ

Lakeshore is my favorite! There are so many resources available to teachers. I love this company because it also provides resources that can be used in therapies and other programs. Awesome company and website, but also expensive.

Website #3
http://atozteacherstuff.com/

This website is similar to website #1 in that it also provides worksheets, but this website lets you create your own worksheets with your own material. Awesome!

#19- Library thing

The books I choose are books that I have enjoyed reading. I think it is great that you can create almost a playlist of books for others to see what you are reading. If you have similar tastes in books with someone, you can view their playlist for suggestions as to what to read next.

#21- podcasts

Podcasts are very convenient for listeners because they can download what they want to listen to and then listen to it when they want to. I enjoy listening to podcasts about Autism because I work with children with Autism and other related disorders.

#20- Youtube

Youtube is beneficial to classrooms because of the tutorials and other resources that are available through it.  It provides videos that can help in the classroom to help explain or show demonstrations of what you are teaching.  I think youtube is great that not only is it an amazing tool, its free!  Here is one of my favorite videos...enjoy!

12- Fun n Games: Travelor IQ Challenge

I loved this site! I played a game finding capitals and major cities in the US.  This would be great for students learning their state capitals, along with where each state is located.  It is also fun, which definitely appeals to students. :)

12: Fun n Games- Wordle

For my Wordle, I made a collage of words describing Cal Lutheran University.  I think Wordle is great because you can make a collage describing anything in these awesome colors and fonts.  I would use this to study for a test, putting the terms I need to know in the collage.  When i look at my Wordle, i can quiz myself on if I know what the words mean when I look at them.

Here is my Wordle....
